A NOTE ON SAFETY

Kayaking and canoeing can take you on a wide range of excitingly unique adventures, but it is important at all times to be mindful of the inherent risks, and approach these with the appropriate knowledge and equipment.

Both British Canoeing and American Canoe Association have useful resources on safety and getting started in paddling. You should familiarise yourself with safety best practices and waterway access for your local area.
